Laboratories

The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology features state-of-the-art laboratories that adhere to pharmaceutical standards. Our facilities are designed to provide students with comprehensive training in drug formulation, chemical analysis, and pharmacological studies.

  • Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory: Focuses on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of drugs and pharmaceutical substances using modern techniques.
  • Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory: Practical facility for the synthesis, purification, and identification of medicinal compounds.
  • Physical Pharmaceutics Laboratory: Hands-on experience in the formulation and evaluation of various dosage forms like tablets, capsules, and liquid orals.
  • Pharmacology Laboratory: Study of drug actions on biological systems and experimental techniques for toxicity and efficacy studies.
  • Pharmacognosy Laboratory: Investigation of drugs from natural sources, including plant anatomy, extraction, and standardization of herbal products.
  • Microbiology and Biopharmaceutics Laboratory: Specialized study of microbial limit tests, sterilization methods, and drug absorption and distribution studies.
