Internal Compliance Committee

The Internal Compliance Committee is dedicated to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and compliant campus environment through the following key functions:

  • Policy Development Develop and implement internal policies and procedures related to compliance or gender-based issues to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Complaint Handling Act as a confidential and approachable forum for employees or individuals to report grievances or instances of non-compliance, harassment, or discrimination.
  • Investigation And Resolution Conduct impartial investigations into reported complaints, ensuring a fair and timely resolution for all parties involved.
  • Support And Counselling Provide support, counselling, and guidance to employees or individuals who have experienced harassment, discrimination, or compliance-related issues.
  • Prevention And Awareness Conduct awareness campaigns, workshops, and training sessions to prevent non-compliance or gender-based issues and promote a respectful and inclusive workplace.
  • Sensitization Programs Organize programs to sensitize employees or stakeholders about compliance requirements or gender-related issues, fostering a culture of understanding and respect.
  • Collaboration With Authorities Collaborate with local authorities, regulatory bodies, or law enforcement agencies to ensure appropriate action is taken when necessary.
  • Reporting And Documentation Maintain accurate records of reported complaints, investigations, and actions taken for future reference and analysis.
  • Empowerment Initiatives Implement initiatives to empower individuals within the organization, such as skill development workshops, career advancement opportunities, or gender equality programs.
  • Compliance Monitoring Monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, and take necessary actions to address any non-compliance issues.

Grievance Redressal Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee ensures a ragging-free campus environment and takes immediate action against any reported incidents, in accordance with UGC regulations.

Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad

Ragging is an Offence

  • Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited, and severe punishments, including dismissal from the college, are imposed on those found guilty. Ragging includes the following acts:
  • Any conduct, whether through words or actions, that teases, ill-treats, or rudely handles a fresher or any other student.
  • Indulging in any activities that cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm, or generate fear among freshers or other students.
  • Demanding or coercing a student to perform acts that bring shame, torment, or embarrassment, adversely affecting their well-being.
  • Any act by a senior student that disrupts the regular academic activities of another student or fresher.
  • Exploiting freshers or other students to complete academic tasks assigned to individuals or groups.
  • Financial extortion or imposing unnecessary expenses on freshers or other students.
  • Physical abuse, including sexual abuse, assaults, stripping, and any actions causing bodily harm or danger to health.
  • Verbal abuse, including emails, posts, insults, and participation in discomfiting or demeaning freshers or other students.
  • Acts that negatively impact the mental health and self-confidence of freshers or other students, with the intention to derive pleasure or exert authority.
  • Do Not 'RAG' and Do Not be a Mute Witness to 'RAGGING'

  • Consequences for students involved in ragging:
  • Expulsion from the institution and a ban from the mess/hostel.
  • Withdrawal of scholarships.
  • Debarment from examinations and denial of admission to any institution.
  • Criminal prosecution with a maximum penalty of 10 years in jail and a fine of Rs 50,000.
  • Institutions are required to file FIRs with the local police against individuals involved in ragging.

Institution Industry Cell

The Institution Industry Cell fosters collaboration between the institution and industry partners, facilitating internships, research projects, and knowledge exchange.
