Admission Eligibility Criteria
First-Year Admission
- Admission Requirements for First Year B.E. / B. Tech. Degree Programme:
- To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- At Gojan, holistic development is paramount. Our campus features playgrounds and courts for basketball, tennis, throw ball, and badminton, nurturing the physical well-being of our students. - For Higher Secondary Examination of Vocational stream: Must have passed any one of the HSC (Vocational Subject) in both +1 and +2, along with any one of the Engineering-related subjects (Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry) with a minimum average percentage as specified below.
Aggregate Percentage Requirements:
- General Category: 45%
- BC including BCM: 40%
- MBC & DNC: 40%
- SC/SCA/ST: 40%
Lateral Entry Admission
Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering/Technology awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu, or equivalent are eligible for admission to the second year of B.E./B. Tech. in the equivalent branch of study. Alternatively, candidates with a Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Mathematics as a subject can also apply. These candidates will undergo additional Engineering subjects in the third and fourth semesters as prescribed by the University.
Aggregate Percentage Requirements for lateral Entry Admission:
- General Category: 55%
- BC including BCM: 50%
- MBC & DNC: 45%
- SC/SCA/ST: 40%
Eligibility for MBA Admission
- Candidates applying for the MBA program must fulfill the following criteria
- A recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration
- Minimum 50% (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying degree examination
- Eligible degree patterns include 10 + 2 + 3/4 years,
- 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years, B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm,
- 10 + 2 + AMIE*, and 10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE*.
